How to restore original S&W stainless finish?

I thin it looks nice, but perhaps TOO nice. It looks like a more polished finish than the original brushed stainless finish the factory applied. I have asked this before and never gotten an answer: Can or will the S&W factory service department refinish a stainless steel revolver to the original brushed finish? Has anybody had this done?
